Usability Features:

• Simplified installation: the web-based system requires minimal physical integration. All that is required is a broadband internet connection.
• Simplified communications: no complex addressing or set-up to be done prior to Televisit™ sessions; all addressing and connections are managed automatically. Any 2 users can connect on any terminal once logged into the network.
• Portability: PC based system can be used in any location with broadband Internet access
• Scalability: users can be added to or removed from your Televisit network as required

Security features:

• Dedicated VPN links: Televisit sessions are conducted using secure dedicated VPN links guaranteeing that information exchanged is private and secure.
• SSL encryption: all data being transmitted or accessed through the Televisit interface is fully secure and protected by 128 bit encryption, including records accessed remotely, or live data and/or speech and video streams transmitted during Televisit sessions. 
• Biometric ID: user identification can be managed using a fingerprint-based biometric system that ensures users are truly authenticated.

Management Features

• Scheduling: Manage time more effectively with the built-in session scheduler.
• Reporting: Reports and session records can be customized and printed or shared electronically.
• Web-based network management: Network and usage is easily monitored and managed through secure web interface.

Clinical features:

• Flexible clinical data collection: Collect data remotely from medical devices such as Pulse Oximeters, Non-Invasive Blood Pressure Monitors, Electronic Stethoscopes, Digital Cameras, etc.
• Multi-functional interface:  Consult patient records or other data live during Televisit sessions.
• On-board training and user assistance: Customizable exam procedures can be generated for onsite healthcare professionals to use in absence of MDs or specialists.
• Single-point or multi-point functionality: Patient evaluation can be done live or offline - data collected and stored by onsite practitioners can be viewed remotely by MDS or specialists
• Simplified data management: Session data including doctor’s notes, clinical data, images, audio and video recordings are automatically saved in the patient session record, and are accessible by both onsite and offsite users.
• Knowledge sharing: MDs, specialists and other healthcare professionals can share diagnosis and treatment information directly in the session records via written notes, audio recordings, or live videoconference.
• Export to EMR: information collecting using Televisit can be shared with existing electronic medical records systems.
